Nominators and award recipients must be aged 18 or over on 1 August 2003.
Award recipients must be residents of the United Kingdom.
Nominators must justify each nomination with practical indications as to why the nominee should be considered for an Upstarts Award by fully completing the online form. All nominations must be accompanied by contact details for both the nominee and the nominator.
The organisers reserve the right to reject any or all nominations for failure to provide correct contact details.
The judges may require further supporting information from nominees. This may involve a face-to-face meeting. Failure to provide any further requested information may result in the rejection of the nomination.
Entries and nominations may be submitted only online using the form provided. One Word, Excel or text attachment is allowed per nomination with a maximum size of 100K. Please note that attachments over this size will not be accepted.
All nominations must be received by 7 January 2004.
All winners wishing to take up the offer of the trip to San Francisco must be available to travel at short notice and have a valid passport and/or visa. Winners deciding not to take up this offer, for whatever reason, will not be offered cash or any other alternative prize.
The judges' decisions will be made according to clear criteria that will be made available on the Upstarts website shortly after the first judges meeting. All judges' decisions are final.
